I like to think being a beauty blogger is kind of like being a nurse. OK, in retrospect it’s nothing at all like being a nurse except for the fact that at parties I always without fail get asked a ton of questions. But instead of being asked about seriously award health issues, I get asked about what the best at…. When answering such questions I more often or not refer to what is currently in my makeup bag – as only the best of the best gets to reside in what I like to call my treasure chest. Like most though I too like to mix things up every now again (especially at the start of a new season) as such a few new products have made their way into my makeup bag. However, rather than keeping them to myself I thought I would be fun to share them with you guys too – after all, it would be rude of me not to. So without further ado, I would like to introduce you all to my five new most cherished 6Urban Decay One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector in the shade Medium Light (40ml £25) – Hailed as the ultimate all-in-one this brilliant hybrid complexion cream seamlessly combines the coverage and feel of a tinted moisturiser with the benefits of a pore minimising primer to offer what can only be described as the perfect base for the warmer months. makeup 3Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Concealer in the shade Y23 (7ml £20) – Every girl needs a good concealer in her life and none quite hide dark circles likes Make Up For Ever’s latest offering. Tip: Apply in thin layers for a truly natural 1By Terry Ombre Blackstar in the shade Misty Rock (1.64g £29) – Well isn’t this a special little product. Known for being notoriously tricky to describe, this interesting shade somehow manages to look good on everyone, whilst also looking completely different on everyone at the same time. On Lily, for example, I notice it comes across quite lilac-y (is that a word), on Anna it appears to be a lot more taupe-y in appearance and on me it somehow manages to comes across a lot more pink. Despite my inability to pin down an exact shade description I have to note the formula of this eyeshadow is seriously impressive. Containing a unique blend of Tahitian Black Pearl, calcium and pearl proteins this light-reflecting eyeshadow not only provides smudge proof all day wear, but it also helps to almost airbrush out any little skin creases you may have to give a truly flawless finish. makeup 4

makeup 5Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen in the shade Deeper (8ml £43) – For me personally no look is complete with a slick of eyeliner. Formulated in the blackest shade of black, Tom Ford’s seductive offering is the stuff of eyeliner dreams. Featuring a fine calligraphy style tip at one end and a smaller compact brush at the other this incredibly user-friendly liner finally makes creating that perfect winged liner a significantly less stressful experience. If that wasn’t enough you may also be pleased to learn (especially considering the price) that it stays put all day without any signs of lid migration. makeup 2Clinique Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm in the shade Red Velvet (12g £15) – Bearing more than a passing resemblance to a macaroon there is no denying that this super cute product looks almost good enough to eat.
